Intro to Photography

The intro class teaches you how to shoot in 100% manual mode by the end of this workshop, including:

• The basics of your camera and achieving proper exposure through–  ISO, Aperture, Shutter Speed

• Metering – simple tips to make it easy!
• White Balance
• Lighting – natural light,  catchlights
• Composition
• Posing secrets and tips along with ideas to get natural expressions from children
• Camera equipment recommendations for Nikon and Canon
• A hands on shoot with guided instruction & real models
• Where (and where not) to print for high quality photos
• Take home materials for you to refer to when you practice by yourself
• Online forum where you can ask questions of the instructors once you are on your own!
