Intro to Photoshop or Elements

Photoshop and Elements workshops will be taught by one instructor in a hands-on classroom learning environment. Each student will be asked to submit one picture to the instructor prior to class, and bring their personal laptop computers with them. The instructor will send out a group of pictures for each student to load on their laptops prior to the workshop, which will be edited during the session. Click believes that by watching, learning, and actually performing the steps during the class, that each student will take home and retain what is taught during the day!

Beginners Photoshop CS+ for Photographers Workshop

  • General workflow process
  • Learning the Photoshop Toolbar / interface
  • The importance of Monitor Calibration
  • Adobe Camera RAW (ACR)
  • Working with curves and levels
  • Working with layers and layer masks
  • Cropping
  • Color Pop
  • Retouching: Fixing blemishes / wrinkles
  • Fixing basic color problems
  • Effectively use actions and batch processes to speed up workflow
  • Sharpening for web vs. print
  • Saving files /backup solutions
  • Total Cost $195

Requirements:  Photoshop CS2, CS3, CS4 or CS5 , Laptop computer (PC or MAC)
